Question:

Children's clipart/pics-actions?

I'm having such difficulty finding clipart for actions to be used as visuals for songs and such. For example...jumping, hopping, galloping, kicking, marching and so forth. Any one have any suggestions? I've tried googling the specific words and checking out the images but so far it's been a waste of time. :-) Thanks ahead of time!

  1. Get an exercise magazine and cut out the pictures - we did that for a game once.

  2. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/clipar...

If this link doesn't work, go to the Microsoft clip art website and search for Style 647.  http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/clipar...

This is a great clipart set for early childhood education.  There is ethnic diversity, the set has nice strong and clean lines, and just about every preschool activity is represented.

If you are looking for free printables to use in your classroom, please visit my site: http://www.quality-kids-crafts.com

New crafts and activities are added almost every day.

    Hope this helps!

  3. Try eBay under flipcharts.  I have a couple listed myself though I would have to see if they cover body movements.

Also try Bob Jones Press online.  They have a Lot of helps like that.  If you don't see it, send a Contact Us message.

  4. Cut pictures out from magazines, toy store ads, sporting goods store ads and from the books you can order teaching supplies. You could attempt to draw them or ask the children if they could make a picture of someone jumping etc.
