Children's schooling in New Zealand?

I am from India , and I'm thinking of migrating to New Zealand with my family ( wife and 2 children aged 12 and 10 ).

The basic reason I'm thinking of migrating is so that my children get a good schooling.

Before I think of looking out for a job for myself , I would like to know some good schools in N.Z. so that I can restrict my job search to those areas where the schools are good.

Can anyone tell me 4 or 5 of the top schools in N.Z. ?

It really depends what you are looking for. I am from Auckland, NZ so i can only speak of schools in the area.

Auckland is the biggest city and you can live and work anywhere in Auckland but most public schools have a zone so you will need to be within it. Some really good areas to live: Dannemora, Remuera, Epsom, Parnell, Ponsonby, Newmarket, St Heliers, Mt Albert
