Children's show in the 90's, man with white hair singing through a forest and painting/ drawing. Crayons too.?

Question

When I was younger I use to watch a tv show probably on pbs or one of those channels with a guy with white hair who always wore what looks like a fishing hat? it's been a long time and I don't remember specifics. Though I remember he use to walk/ jog through the forest in the theme song to start the show and go to a little hut thing where him and his pretend animal friends would draw a picture with crayons and sometimes paint. He use to sing and help his friends along the way. This show use to be my favorite and I would love to figure out the name of it and watch it again on youtube and show my family.

Any help would be awesome, I don't think the man was old, but I think he had white hair.
