In December my boyfriend and I want to go on a cruise and we wanted to take our son with us. We have to take a airplane to get to the location of the docking area. Our son is 10 months and by December he will be 1 year & 3 months.

What is the appropriate age to have a child on an airplane?

  1. Although not an innate ability, with a little time and practice your children can learn to fly.  Beginning at 6 months, you can start with simple exercises like tossing your baby in the air and teaching them to flap their arms.  You can also attach your baby to a sturdy kite to teach gliding techniques.  Keep it up and never let your child fly unsupervised.  You'll be surprised how fast they learn.

  2. any age and since he isnt 2 yet he can fly for free!!!

  3. i dont think that there iz a certain age as long as he will sit still n not make to much noise his ok with me

  4. You can have your son on the plane.  I've seen all ages of children, from newborn to teens traveling on airplanes.

The fact that he will be under 2 years old you will not need to buy a ticket for him.  As he can sit on your lap.

  5. Humans can go anywhere in the Earth's atmosphere as long as they have a tank of oxygen (for the high up areas). Your kid will be okay. The only thing that baby's cannot do is leave earth's gravitational field or atmosphere because without the gravity the child would develop like a blob. You could have birth on a plane and the child would be ok. The appropriate age is...any age!
