Congrats Blair and Brown.

Britain has worst teen pregnancy rate AND teen abortion rate in OECD.

American slums are more decorous than s**+tannia.

Top marks human rights activistas, moral masturbators and social engineers. Feckers

2007: 198,500, UP 30,000 in the decade since Labour came to power.

In 1969, the first full year after abortion was legalised, the total was under 50,000.

1/3 of the women (64000) were having a 2nd or subsequent termination.

14,746 of these were on at least their 3rd, more than 1,000 were on a 5th, and 29 had gone through 8 OR MORE

Fricking Pathetic.

But more:

Statistics from the Dep Health show national under -18 rate for terminations is 19.8 per 1,000 girls (highest in OECD)

Sth Yorkshire- rate is higher - with 25 per 1,000 girls in Sheffield, 21 in Rotherham, 20 Barnsley.

So Vicky Pollard should have Tike accent not Brizzle?

Gener8tion Nu Lay-bore hang your heads in shame and keep your bloody legs shut thanks!

Thatcher not to blame this time, eh?

  1. Ireally think that all teenage girls should getting th implant when they are at school so they cant have children for at least 5 years. If we did that at 13, then they cant have kids until they are 18 and by then you would hope they are sensible enough to know what they are doing.

  2. This is certainly a social problem though I would say it had snowballed over many years and is not caused by new labour.  Calling Labour leftist is also quite erroneous.  I've never seen a supposedly left-wing party take on so many right-wing ideas!  In terms of attitude, Conservative and Labour are getting closer and closer all the time, mocking the very idea of democratic choice.

We have definitely ended up with a large section of our society suffering from inaffective parenting.  This has probably got a lot to do with the way the parents were parented, suggesting that this problem was spawned generations ago.  It's difficult to point the finger at exactly what or who is to blame.  I think it is a multitude of things.  I wouldn't say that New Labour have been effective in dealing with the "scallie/chav" problem with such things as asbos and bans on hooded tops! But I don't think it was their fault that this started.

  3. It is not the government who is making these girls pregnant.

Though in fact, teenage sexual activity is dropping.

  4. I was trying to work out what your question was, but all I could see was a right wing rant.

The pro abstinence bunch in the US would love you.  Why don't you emigrate there and leave us alone?

  5. aint labour faults. its the young girls who are slags.

  6. That's not the problem though - NOW they can and with the experience clocked up, they may even know the rudimentary basics too in the event it's practice is disallowed at a later date - so what of the future under ANY government??

What it will be called at any rate, from the overseers' higher eschelons, is "containment". Where a prophylatic is deemed viable, the pill too as well as operations and implants, so abortions falls simply and succinctly into the same category, 'containment'.

What sense linking it to morals though?  We're discussing politics, government and appeasing the wayward of any electorate - how are people interested in those statistics and morality without somehow saying, "I'm exposed to this element of civilisation" - a bit like introducing oneself with the feedline, "I'm looking for where all this New Labour teen s*x is happening"

    Think 'containment'...

  7. Yes but at least they didn't give us AIDS. That was a Thatcher failing: No AIDS at all before she came into power.

Since you're congratulating Blair and Brown, do you think that they're responsible for these unwanted pregnancies. Cherie did say that Tony was a "four time a night man".

  8. Parents are opting out of their responsibility to bring young people up in a moral way
