Children in cars.?

Is there are law, or statute that limits the length of time, or number of times that a young child can ride in a car?

I am not talking about leaving a child unattended in a car.

I am talking about riding in a properly installed car seat, correctly restrained, clothed and cared for.

  1. There's no law that I know of, but experts recommend that car seat usage be kept to a minimum for the first 3 months of a child's life because of breathing difficulties.

  2. not that I know of or have heard of...

  3. In all the years i have been driving i never came across a law on children and cars but law says children should be in a car seat and seat belt

  4. I also have not heard of anything like this but I would recommend that you should use the same rule of thumb that is used for the driver and passengers and that every several hours you should stop and stretch because sitting in position for a long period of time will slow up the blood flow to your legs....

  5. not that i know of, as long as the child is properly seated
