Hi, I have five children. Two live with their Father who does not allow myself, my partner or the siblings to see them ( long story am fighting this!). Two are temporarily in Foster Care ( I put them in whilst I sorted myself out after a bad breakup and mental illness) but they will be returning to live with us full time within a couple months. Finally i have a 4month old son who lives with myself and my partner (unexpected pregnancy but very happy nonetheless). My question is, My partner is working fulltime and we receive the necessary benefits and tax credits for my son but we have two of my other children living with us half of each week so obviously having to pay for food and extra everything. Would i be entitled to any help benefits or anything else wise considering the foster carer receives money for them living with her fulltime still and we re having to struggle along.

  1. Did you try the health and human services office? Or maybe ask the person who prepares your taxes. I receive child support for my 2 kids but they live with me, from experience though child support is the dads half. I have to come up with money too. Maybe you need to come up with more income, i hope i didnt sound mean. just my opinion. good luck though!
