what does it mean when a child of about a 13 years having the iq over 210

  1. It means that child should re-do the test.... if at all.

    Especially high IQs are very, very hard to measure, and a 13 year old scoring 210 is something I heavily doubt. Stephen Hawking is said to score slightly above 200... so there you go.

    People with high IQs don't all become professors or inventors. If you look at organisations such as Mensa, they include cab drivers and shop assistants amongst their members. It is not too tricky to score very high in standardised IQ tests and whether or not they actually measure intelligence is debated. They VERY certainly don`t predict actual performance.

    If your daughter/son/cousin/brother... scored that high and you would like to have it verified, contact Mensa and have him/her re-sit that test. You don't give much of a context here, but you might want to look at scores from tests at school: are they particularly high or even low? Intellectual giftedness should have showed up either way. :)
