Childrens passport?

has anyone applied for a childs first passport recently?

was wondering how long it takes ?

It takes about 6 weeks to come unless you pay a fee of a hundred dollors and then you get it within like a week and childrens passports last five years and adults last ten.

my daughter applied and took two weeks but i think if they are under 13 u can use their birth certificates

you can get it expediated for $60 more and get it in 2 weeks

The same amount of time as an adults passport - up to 8 weeks if you apply with the standard service.

yes got my daughters in april , she is one , cost me about £42 plus photos etc , didnt use the post office fast post thing , and had the passport back within about 2 weeks delivered by special courier and on a sunday too - weird
