how many eggs do childrens pythons lay????

and how old does the male and female have to be??

what time off the year do they breed???

and can the male breed with more than 1 female???

  1. [ 1 ] Childrens on average have between 6 - 12 eggs , depending on the size of the female. However some large females can have up to 18 - 20.

    [ 2 ] Generally all pythons can breed at the age of 3 providing they are of good enough size and weight. Females should be at least 80cm long and 250 grams. Males have to be at a sexually mature age, but don't have to be as big as females.

    [ 3 ] In Australia, they breed as the weather starts getting cooler during winter, and as it starts to warm back up. Generally this means any time between May to August.

    [ 4 ] Yes the male can breed with many females.
