  1. Depending on what the topic of your class is, there are many songs to teach.

    Farm animals:

Old Mac Donald had a farm

    The farmer in the Dell

    Six little ducks

    Mary had a little lamb

    Baa baa black sheep

    Little Bo Beep

    Wild Animals

The elephant carries a great big trunk

    Monkey see, monkey do

    I'm a great big lion

    The giraffe

Come to the zoo with me

    Fish

    Down by the meadow

    Pets

    the 3 little kittens

    B-i-n-g-o

    Daily activities

Here we go round the mulbery bush

    the wheels on the bus

    ...

I could go on and on.  It really depends on what you're teaching right now.

    Easter

    Easter eggs, easter eggs...

    Long ears and short tail

    Spring

    Spring is coming

Also, you could try Hap Palmer

Hap Palmer is an innovator in the use of music and movement to teach skills and encourage the use of imagination.

His recordings and videos have received numerous honors including the Parent's Choice Award and the National Parenting Publications Award.

I've used some of his songs as well.

  2. Bend and Stretch from Romper Room. I think it would be suitable for pre-k up to 3rd grade because the lyrics are

about movement, stars, and the sky. I hope that I helped you out.

  3. This is a great website with music lesson plans for all ages!  Hope this helps! :)

  4. I am taking a course in school where students come in three times a week. They're between the ages 3-5 and they LOVE to sing Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. It really teaches them how to learn their alphabet.

I'm honestly not sure about the older kids, hope I helped out a little bit.

  5. Try the itsy bitsy spider, mary had a little lamb, etc.   i kno they were always my favorites

  6. Anything by Raffi is great!!!  Here are a couple of web sites.

He sings great songs like: Baby Beluga, Down By the Bay, The Wheels on the Bus, and much, much more!

  7. Look at some songs by Jim Gill or Greg&Steve. They have great songs that are easy to put motions to. Make sure you think about the maturity level of songs first... some songs are just too young for those "mature" third graders. For third graders look more for Folk songs: Polly Wolly Doodle, Old Joe Clark, etc.

Here are some sites to help you with your search...
