Childrens songs with hand motions???

Question

My son has resently become obsessed with "The Itsy Bitsy Spider". I am getting sick of it, but would like to sing other songs that have hand motions with them....but now that I need them I can't think of any?? HELP!!

I've read your message  and can i suggest that you buy a cd or cassette tape with different songs on it,  like wheels on the bus,  1 finger 1 thumb,  the hokey cokey,  i'm a little tea pot.

Absolutely loads out there, why not buy a CD from early learning centre or a book that comes with a CD.

That's what I use in my class.

Songs are a fab way to teach children all sorts of things such as body parts "heads, shoulders, knees and toes" left from right "the hokey cokey, put your left arm in etc" counting with "one, two, three, four, five once i caught a fish alive"

really good fun and children gain confidence and begin to feel comfortable acting out songs. Hope this helped.
