Chile - Middle School?

Is there middle school in Chile like in the U.S.? If not, what is the equivalent to 8th grade?

of course there is middle school ,and it is called Basica o primaria, and 8th grade in chile it's the same that in the u.s.

at the same age :) then it comes high schools or secundaria
