Chileans don't like Americans?

Question

my mom told me that chileans don't like Americans so therefore it's dangerous for American vacationers. so my real question is, if we put on fake British accents and learned all of the British ways, and put on British clothes, would it be less dangerous? or do they hate the Britsh also??

Girl, don't go to all that trouble. Chile and the US government just don't get along, that's all. It doesn't mean the people there are hostile. If you saw a Cuban walking down the road, would you spit on them or something? No, but the US hates Cuba's guts.

right now every country is mad at america  and we should  always be prepared.. but just to be safe  maybe a british is good  but the british are also rude..maybe they dont like them either  try astraila

My best friend is Chilean and her whole family is. We get along just fine.
