So i filled out an application for chili'stoday, and there were a couple things that i left blank because i couldnt answer. After i turned in the application and left, i starting thinking would they not even bother calling me in for an interview just because i left a couple things blank instead of putting n/a?

  1. if you're still working there, they'll know why you didn't answer when they look at your work history. last grade in college, same thing when they see you're school history...but, for next time, at least put the n/a-never leave anything blank.thats why there's such thing as n/a.hope you get the job, good luck!!

  2. It depends what you left blank. If you wrote N/A, they would have thought that was ok, but if you left the question blank, they might have thought you were evading the question or you missed the question.

Don't worry about i now, they still might call if the rest of the application looks in good order. Lots of luck to you.

  3. Had you left questions blank that would, in every case, have an answer, you may have an issue.  However, leaving questions that may not have an answer blank, as opposed to putting N/A, shouldn't be an issue.

Of course, it's just my opinion, but if someone would NOT call you for that specific reason, perhaps you'd be better off not working with them...

  4. i dont understand what your question is...
