  1. Heres the link to geelongs weather stats from beaureau of meterology - i didn't take the time to assess them, but seriously geelong should be cold enough for cherries, they grow lots of them in canberra and the stella seems to be big in S.A. so it should be fine in geelong for chill factor http://www.bom.gov.au/climate/averages/t...

If you can't get into the weather stats, try here,

    http://www.freshforkids.com.au/fruit_pag...

it has a map of Oz showing prime growing areas

and this site is US http://www.nctimes.com/articles/2007/04/...  but says 400 hours below 7 degrees celcius over dec and jan (june and july here?) will do, so maybe back to the weather link! But that would be right taking in the nights for sure, I'm on coast nsw and we'd get that easily.

Anyway, hope that helps, and hope you have loads of juicy cherries this summer
