My 6 wk old daughter has a wierd chin tremble sometimes. It's not because she's cold and most of the time when she does it she's not crying. So what else could it be? Sometimes her whole jaw just trembles. Is this normal?

  1. Normal, I don't know if you will know why.  Get used to it as a parent.  So many "whys' to be had.

  2. My daughter still does this and she is 7 months old now. No one knows why, just a reaction I guess. Don't worry about it though, just normal.

  3. My daughter did this from the time she was born. She is five months old now and does it a little less than before. She did it alot when she was eating but never seemed bothered by it. Its pretty cute though ;)

  4. at that age her nervous system is still immature.  It's normal and my daughter did it for about 2 months.  She'll grow out of it and btw I love all the dark hair she has...my daughter was born with a full head of dark hair also!

  5. Very normal. I have worked with lots of babies who have done it.Lots do it when they get tired

  6. My baby did that too....I think it's just their nerves aren't all the way mature yet.  His leg would tremble sometimes too.  He's 6 months now and it doesn't happen anymore.

  7. completely normal. it's just something that happens for no reason. it has no "cause" and the baby isn't in need of anyhing and is something that she'll grow out of.
