I am debating moving to China but keeping my U.S. citizenship. I would like to know what the buying power if a US dollar is in relation to a Chinese yuan. What I mean to say is say a bottle of water costs 1 dollar American, How many yuan would it take to buy that same bottle of water in China? If it is worthwhile I want to convert allot of my savings and inheritance(378,000 US) into Yuan because if everything works out I would technically have more money over their, And so live a bit easier. I would have a job to, But not having to worry about every penny everyday kicks ***. I just wanna have my ducks in a row before I do anything drastic. Ty, Exec

  1. Although  most Chinese  have a low cost of living compared to the US, they do not live our life style. It is actually very expensive to  have and American standard of living in most poor countries and China is no exception.
