China Open 2012: Belaetrix Manuputi ousts Anastasia Chervaykova in Women’s Singles qualifying round
Indonesia’s experienced player Belaetrix Manuputi proved her elevated craft in the arena when she put up strong show of top class badminton and remained successful in beating Russia’s Anastasia Chervaykova in qualifying round clash at Li Ning China Open
2012 on Tuesday, November 13, in China.
The higher ranked Belaetrix, who is the fourth seeded shuttler in Women’s Singles main draw of the tournament, played with tremendous precision and remained successful in winning the battle in just 24 minutes on court.
Indonesian player was in remarkable form on court as she played in a dominating fashion emerged as the winner against her lower ranked Russian rival in straight games with a reasonable margin on the board.
The lower ranked Anastasia, in the meanwhile, was in all sorts of trouble as she could not create her Indonesian opponent at any stage of the match and lost the match without winning any set from her rival.
Belaetrix, right from the opening points of first set, played with outstanding control in her strokes and managed to control the driving seat with a surprising ease.

In the second game, Anastasia put in extra effort to create pressure on her higher ranked rival and remained successful in staying close on the board at the opening stage.
However, Belaetrix geared up her speed by taking the bird early and managed to control the pace of rallies until the mid-game interval.
After the break, Belaetrix continued her tremendous run on court without sparing any loophole for her rival and eventually won the game with a reasonable 21-18 score on the board.
The in-form Belaetrix took 24 minutes to stamp her mark in the arena as she ended up this Women’s Singles qualifying round clash in straight games with a total of 21-9 and 21-18.
