China Open 2012: Huan Gao topples Zolzaya Munkhbaatar in Men’s Singles qualifying round
China’s impressive young shuttler Huan Gao found a convincing start by displaying an impressive performance in Men’s Singles qualifying round when he slaughtered Mongolia’s Zolzaya Munkhbaatar at the Li Ning China Masters 2012 at Shanghai, China, on Tuesday,
November 13.
The in-form Huan, who has been showing an inspiring performance at international stage for the last few months, showed a staggering performance on court and cheered his home fans by finishing up the battle in a lopsided battle.
Huan was on a completely different level and he tested all of his shots to get familiar with the conditions of the court and remained successful in winning the match with a crushing margin in just 17 minutes.
In the meanwhile, Zolzaya could not put up strong performance on court as he failed to match the speed and perfection of his local opponent and eventually lost the contest in a humiliating manner.

Huan injected variations in his shots that helped him to maintain his supremacy against his confused challenger on court.
The local shuttler showed no respect to his Mongolian rival in the starting half and secured a comfortable lead until the end of opening half.
After the one-minute interval, the incredible Huan did not slow down the pace of rallies at any stage and comfortably clinched the first set with an incredible margin of 21-2.
In the following set, Zolzaya increased his speed to play better badminton but failed to take the bird early and remained struggling from all areas.
After the one-minute break, Huan entertained the crowd with his tremendous craft while remaining aggressive on court and he remained in command.
The impressive local player stayed aggressive all the way to nail the second game with a crushing margin of 21-3.
The in-form Huan ended up this qualifying round battle in a completely ruthless fashion as he thrashed his opponent in straight games with a killing 21-2 and 21-3 score on the board.
