China VS USA in the olympics. Whos Winning?

Okay Lets take a look at this because it seems like everyone is counting medals and China and The USA is in a heated race. But I think China is really blowing out the USA. china has 22 gold medals compared to Michael Phelps 10 gold medals. Does bronze really matter cuz USA is kicking everyones butt in the Bronze medals. So I dont understand why media is acting like the USA is over achieving. NO Phelps is over acheiving. So who agrees with me that China is really blowing out its competition in the Olympics.

China is winning now because China has 22 gold medals and USA has 10.

But track and field hasn't started yet. There are many more gold medals up for grab in swimming. These are the areas where USA can win over China.

Noo, China always leads the medal count in the first week. The USA will smash the board next week(I'm not Alain Bernard). But I think China will get A LOT of Gold Medals.

I doubt it, because I've watched the Olympics since 1972 and it does not really matter how many gold medals you won, but rather how many total medals you have. All the young people from 3rd world countries are claiming China to be the best just because the beginning of the Olympics have sports that they excel at. China will get their butts handed to them by Great Britain, Russia, Germany, USA and Jamaica during track & field events. So what, they can have diving and gymnastics because that's where they "farm" and develop athletes by letting them live in cages, starving them and not letting them see their parents for years, just because the politburo, "party chairman" and secret police say so......

China has stepped  it up this Olympics. I've been really impressed with them. A lot of their atheletes are trained from birth so you know they are going to do well. With the US I'm more impressed by the back stories and finding out how hard they worked to get to be the best of the best.  I"m so over Michael Phelps though...he's gotten too much media attention. There are other great US atheletes who deserve an equal amount of attention.

Over all China is a power house! Go USA..Go China!

Totally agree with everything you said, the media is focusing on phelps not the US. And yes China is totally blowing everyone out. They have twice the maount of gold medals then the US

Yeah but theyre also cheating by using underage preformers. Dont get me wrong they are amazing but they shouldnt do that. Overall though China is winning but Phelps kicks ***! Woot Woot!

Phelps isn't over achieving; everyone expected him to do well and he's living up to expectations. It's too early to say - wait until the track and field medals start to get sorted; the USA will be in front in no time.
