China adoption!??!?!?!?

LOL im just wondering, but how long does it take normally to adopt a child from china these days? and are there more girls than boys or the other way around!? which takes longer to get, a baby or a toddler?!

please answer! :D

  2. Special needs takes about 7-9 months.  Non special needs 3+ years.

    There are more NSN girls.  Most of the boys are SN.  It is almost impossible to get a child under the age of 10 mos.  Most NSN infants are being adopted by the Chinese so those available for international adoption are usually 1 year or older at referral which takes place a few months before the actual adoption.  The SN children are usually referred at about 1 1/2 years old.
