  1. China has been in Tibet many times years before so they probably killed more than that. They are very violent. They use grenades that kill about 20 people when it explodes.

  2. No MM, you are a communist apologist!!! My source tells me that the Commie's stick grenades kill 200 people every pop. You get it? 200. They used 10000 of these grenades on Tibetans, and killed 1,000,000 Tibetans. Tibet had a population of circa 1 million in 1950s, and the Commie massacred them all! These Chincom are fast breeders, and managed breed another 2 million mindless chincom Tibetans since then!!! Stop being a commie apologist!!!

  3. wikipedia, on People's Liberation Army operations in Tibet (1950–1951), includes this footnote:

Michael Parenti in " Friendly Feudalism: The Tibet Myth" writes: Both the Dalai Lama and his advisor and youngest brother, Tendzin Choegyal, claimed that “more than 1.2 million Tibetans are dead as a result of the Chinese occupation.” The official 1953 census--six years before the Chinese crackdown--recorded the entire population residing in Tibet at 1,274,000.37 Other census counts put the population within Tibet at about two million. If the Chinese killed 1.2 million in the early 1960s then almost all of Tibet, would have been depopulated, transformed into a killing field dotted with death camps and mass graves--of which we have no evidence. The thinly distributed Chinese force in Tibet could not have rounded up, hunted down, and exterminated that many people even if it had spent all its time doing nothing else. See also "A Note on Tibet's Population" Leo A. Orleans, The China Quarterly, No. 27 (Jul. - Sep., 1966), pp. 120-122.

actually, that footnote includes a link to: http://www.michaelparenti.org/Tibet.html - very critical of the previous tibetan regime - made me question linking to it at all!  still, it is a good read, good to see different sides of stories.
