China and the Olympics?

It's amazing how China is drastically winning more gold medals this year than they probably have in a while...even more gold medals than the United States.

Am I the only one thinking China is being extremely corrupt in their judging processes?

If all the judges were from China you might be able to suspect them of being corrupt but that is not the case.  The judges in each sport come from many different countries so if an athlete wins a gold medal it is because they deserved it according to all these judges.

Am I the only one who thinks Yahoo Answers is corrupt while everyones doing everything they can to complain about the Chinese? And how their cheaters, their gymnasts are underage, their country is polluted, their fireworks are fake. Can't people just accept that the Chinese are exceptional and leave it at that?

Couldn't be because they are over a billion people in their country...choose athletes from a very young age and train them full time...or that for their country sport isn't like here with professional teams in leagues, yet rather more about competition in large world events like this...this is what they train for...not multi million dollar wheaties endorsements afterwards...different country...different culture..they are good...and in many events....very very good.

i think it can be corrupt because look how young the china gymnastics team is for the women they don't even look 16

No, there are a lot of people that feel this way, including me.  It's a shame that you can't even be sure if they are being judged right.  It ruins watching the Olympics and the real competition.
