China continues peerless domination at international stage

most of all, an unending hunger for victory.
Chinese players have elevated themselves to an impressive standard as they have achieved the highest level of skill in badminton. Chinese shuttlers are far ahead of other players from different nations of the world, mainly because of their hard work and
dedication towards the game.
One of the most important factors behind the success of Chinese shuttlers is that they are the outcome of a ‘proper system’. For the last one decade, the world has witnessed the domination of China because of the constant production of top-class shuttlers.
Currently, Chinese players are the leaders in the all categories of the game as they have clinched major titles in the world of badminton. They repeated their impressive display in the Hong Kong Open and secured all titles in every category of the game.
A clean sweep in a Super Series event, where all top shuttlers of the world were present, stamped the supremacy of China at the world stage.
The final day of the Hong Kong Open belonged to Chinese shuttlers, who went home swelling with pride as they clinched titles in all five categories indicating that they are ready to display a similar performance at the 2012 London Olympics.
In the title match of Men’s Singles, the ruling World and Olympic Champion, Lin Dan showed his class when he tamed his compatriot and 2010 World Champion, Chen Jin in straight games. World Number Three, Lin is looking forward to defend his title at the 2012
London Olympics.
In the Women’s Singles category, World Number Three, Wang Xin put up a tremendous show of top quality badminton and won the title by beating Denmark’s Tine Baun in a straight-game contest. Xin has become the first shuttler in Women’s Singles category who
has won three successive Super Series tournaments.
Ruling World Champions and World Number One ranked duo, Cai Yun and Fu Haifeng took the Men’s Doubles title by beating the second seeded pair of Jung Jae Sung and Lee Yong Dae of Korea in the final contest, which ended in three games.
The Women’s Doubles title went to Wang Xiaoli and Yu Yang (F), who are currently World Number One. The Chinese pair played remarkable badminton against their compatriots and second seeds, Tian Qing and Zhao Yunlei.
In the title match of Mixed Doubles, China’s top seeds and World Number One, Zhang Nan and Zhao Yunlei proved their mettle against Denmark’s Joachim Fischer Nielsen and Christinna Pedersen. The Chinese couple won the battle by displaying their elite skills
in a thrilling rubber-set contest.
The striking performance of Chinese shuttlers in the Hong Kong Open has stamped their supremacy in the arena of badminton. Now, their next target is to repeat the same performance at the 2012 London Olympics.
