China embassy dont give visa to Philippines and French passport holders here in Bangkok. What do do?

I am a Filipino and came here to Bangkok to get China visa because it only takes 1 day to get it...But unfortunately, just last week, they said they wont give (tourist) visa to us anymore (temporarily), no news on when they will resume. In my country, it would take more than a month to apply and get it. Anybody knows why they stopped giving visas now, and which other country gives visa as fast as Bangkok does?

I have a filipina friend who work in china for about 6yrs, she just recently apply her visa in manila last month and it only takes 5 days to process.

Email the Embassy in Laos maybe they can help you there.  There not busy and they have a long history with the French
