Fake fireworks, telling little girls that they are too ugly to sing in public, ticket scams, and stabbings and God knows what else.

I think this is the last time we should let a red country host the Olympics, no?

  1. you bet ye.

  2. Yes, I do agree with you that this should be the last time we let a red country host the Olympics.

What really annoys me is that although the Chinese are treated as slaves by their rulers for thousand years, they hate foreingers criticizing their gov. They think the foreigners are laughing at them, as if people are the same as gov. How funny. They don't know in a mature country, people should criticize the gov in order to make the gov to serve the people harder.

  3. You are a fool.

    [[edit]] I'm Chinese BTW.

  4. I can tell that you just don't like China by your question. But you are just making up an excuse to hate China. Like "I think this is the last time we should let a red country host the Olympics, no?" for example.

Also there were no ticket scams, the fireworks were real, but were edited because it was too dangerous to film and the stabbings werent on purpose.

  5. Well, considering 3 things have proved to be fake that the government orchestrated (fireworks, the non-singing girl, and female gymnasts birthdays)- are you surprised?  No one can hide the biased judging/referee calls in many events.  It's just the way the Olympics are.

You can't blame ticket scams on them.  Every Olympics has them.  The stabbing was a random act of violence that could have occur ed in any country where they help the game.

What bothers me is the IOC isn't stepping up to say this is wrong.  The Olympics is supposed to be about putting disputes aside and not being political and coming together.  Yet, all we see if political motives.  Cities fighting tooth and nail to host the games.  Protesters of every sort lining the streets hoping ot get on camera.  People boycotting the games because of something one government has done. Swimmers making naked posters to promote PETA.  Half the games being played now are outside the competitions and in the hands of the politicians and committee people.

  6. Well I don't think that would solve anything really, but I do agree that they have not handled things well and it appalls me that they would tell that to the little girl she should have been allowed to sing her song in view of the public without judgment on her looks - Beauty is what beauty does which means we are all beautiful from within, outer looks have nothing to do with how beautiful a person is. I haven't heard about the fireworks or what happened with the tickets, so I cant' respond on that. Unfortunately, the stabbings could have happened in any country. Thats' how the nuts of the world get their jollies and attention because they know it will be reported on.

So basically China just needs to get a handle on the hype and be real for the world to see, perhaps beef up the security presence to keep the loonies from hurting more people.
