Chinchilla hiccups ?

Question

my chinchilla has been making violent hiccup like things. He peels back his lip when doing so.

I just took him out of the exercise ball. Is this a respiratory problem? should I be worried?

He should be fine. He is probably just having a relapse. Give him some water and let him cool down. Keep him away from the exercise ball so he doesn't get too tired.
