Chinese, Mongolian boxers triumph in Asian Games
Entries from China and Mongolia chalked up wins on the fourth day of the 2010 Asian Games boxing competition at the Foshan Gymnasium on Friday 19 November.

Meng Fanlong assured the country of a bronze in the 81kg by dominating Chingis Borbashev of Kyrgyzstan 24-4. Awaiting him in the semi-finals is Uzbekistan's Elshod Rasulov, a 3-1 winner over Iran's Ehsan
Rouzbahani.
The other semi-final will pit Nepal's Deepak Maharjan against India's Dinesh Kumar. Maharjan blanked Thailand's Sukkhum Kriangkai 4-0 while Kumar pulled off a 10-6 win over South Korea's Heo Jin-ho.
Mongolian fans joined their southern neighbours in celebration. Following Dorjnyambuu into the next round was Tuvshinbat Byamba, who ousted Delfin Boholst of the Philippines 8-1 to advance to the 64kg
division quarterfinals.
He will next take on India's Irothu Santhosh Kumar, who eliminated Malaysian Azmi Khir Akyazlan 6-1.
There were also two bouts in the 91kg division. Jeon Chan-yeong of South Korea trounced Myktybek Mamasaliev of Kyrgyzstan 13-2 while Mohammad Ghossoun of Syria beat Vassiliy Levit of Kazakhstan 11-6.
In other bouts in the 60kg category, South Korea's Han Soon-chul prevailed over Kyrgyzstan's Asylbek Talasbaev 11-6 while Kazakhstan's Samat Bashenov sent home Jordan's Mahmoud Esheish 8-3.
North Korean Kim Chol-song survived Qatar's Mohammed Abdulla 7-5; Indian Krishan Vikas walloped Turkmenistan's Amangeldi Hudaybergenov 8-1; Uzbekistan's Hurshid Tojibaev stopped Cambodian Sophat Phal;
Iran's Forootan Golara dominated Bhutan's Chencho Wangdi 13-3.
Also progressing in the 64kg class were Thailand's Wuttichai Masuk and Indonesian Vinky Montolalu. Masuk outpointed South Korean Shim Hyun-young 10-5 while Montolalu prevailed over Cambodian Ratha Svay
8-4.
The two Southeast Asian boxers will take on each other in the quarterfinals.
Joining them in the last eight was Kazakh Daniyar Yeleussinov, whose fight with Islam Mohammad Maroof was stopped in the first round as the Afghan could no longer continue fighting due to injury.
Standing in his path for the gold is Iran's Houman Karami, who pummelled Saudi Arabian Zuoher Zaki Saddiq 15-2.
In other bouts, Ermek Sakenov of Kyrgyzstan beat Aamir Khan of Pakistan 13-4 while Sanjarbek Rahmanov of Uzbekistan disposed of SerdarHudayberdiyev of Turkmenistan 7-2.
The boxing competition will continue tomorrow featuring bouts in the 49kg, 52kg, 69kg, and 75kg categories.
