  1. I'd take it back. I have one in my angelfish tank, and it chases the loach all around. I got it because I read about it being peaceful in a book.

looking around on the internet, only the young ones are peaceful. the older they get, the worst they get.

they even suck on the sides of fish.

  2. It will only get worse as it ages, so there's really nothing left to do but take it back to the store, unless you've got a 40 gallon tank to give it (to itself) when it's 8" long...  If you want something else to eat algae, try a few Otos or a Bristlenose Pleco (5" at the VERY most as adults).

  3. chinese algae eaters dont like intruders that get close to them, they are better keeped alone.

  4. Take him back as soon as you can. They are horrible and very aggressive even when they get older. You can get algae eaters like siamese algae eaters, otocinclus, I would try and stay away from plecos, many of them get quite large.

  5. I'm Not Sure. Please Pick Me As Best Answer. I Need Level Two.

  6. Ummm you should take it back to the fish store..duh you can exchange it for another one which is not aggresive. if this keeps up, you may have the result of a ead fish which i am sure you do not want.  Take it back and get your money worth
