Question:

Chinese Buffet in Paris?

There's a great Chinese buffet in Nimes called "China Express". Is there a decent Chese buffet style restaurant in Paris, near to Gare du Nord if possible?

  1. The principle "Chinatown" in Paris is in the 13th arrondissement on the south side of the city. The neighborhood's center is the place d'Italie, and its borders are the avenue d'Ivry, avenue de Choisy and boulevard Masséna.

Chinese and Vietnamese (and allegedly "Tibetan")  restaurants have multiplied all over the city in the last few years.

Quality is variable to an extreme. I am half Chinese and  grew up eating Chinese cuisine so perhaps I'm a bit picky about such things but a lot of Chinese restaurants in France serve inedible food.

The best Chinese food in any city is served in places where there is no language spoken other than Chinese. I realize that may place something of a burden on your search for a good Chinese restaurant on Paris (or anywhere for that matter).
