no, this is not necessary use turmeric instead if you wish.  it will give you the yellow color without affecting the flavor or taste

u mean if i wanna make my own noodles? nah, its bad. but the thing is i dun make my own noodles, i buy them. some dishes i hav to use yellow noodles which well yea uses that colouring. so no to yr question but yes i do eat them.
