Question:

Chinese Gender Calendars!?

by  |  earlier

First off I KNOW these are just for fun! But for those that do enjoy them I have a question....do you go by the month of your LMP or do you go by your actual conception month?? For instance my LMP was May 19th and I conceived June 4th. Would I use June or May? Thanks!

Also...I know there are TONS of the these calendars out there! Why don't you all post your favorite ones and we can see how accurate they are!

IF you dont believe in them or they didn't work for you then please just don't answer! I think we all know its 50/50 and you cannot rely on them!

  1. I believe you use your conception month. Even though some people don't know exactly when but usually their LMP is in the same month as their conception date. I would love if these were actually true too.. but with my 1st it said boy and it was a girl... this time it says girl so maybe a boy?:) I'll know on Sept 2 if he/she cooperates!:) I've always used this one

  2. You use the conception date!

I tried them for myself, my husband and my brother-in-law and the calender was right!

I tried it for my baby and it was wrong!

  3. As far as I know its the month you conceived that they go by. I have to admit I did these predictors for all 4 pregnancies and they were wrong each time lol. If I were you id go by June as that was the month you conceived

  4. if you read the rules of the ACTUAL calender. you add a year to the age that u concived so if your 23 on the calender your 24 by that and the actual month you concived... they usally come out right.

im prayin for mine to b right this time around too !!:)'

    good lucks!

    CONGRATS!!

  5. I've heard these calenders are pretty accurate...although, it's nothing to place a sure bet on. Remember that chinese new year is different from our US new year SOOOOO basically what that mean is make sure the age of the mother is the age of the mother in CHINESE calender, not ours. You may be 25 here but 26 there...does that make sense? And yes, you go by conception month. Good Luck and Have fun with it!

  6. 39 weeks... I just did a test and it asked me for my conception date and the age I was at the time of conception. It said I was having a boy and so did the doctor so I guess it was correct. LOL Good luck

  7. Go by when you concieved.

I was going through today doing quizes for them to guess the gender of my baby... they all said girl! lol   I am having a boy.

    They are fun though.

  8. the one that i used was the conception date.
