Chinese Olympic Gymnasts under aged?

My friend thinks it is wrong that china has under aged athletes in the gymnastics events of the olympics.

I want to hear your opinion

It hasnt been proved yet that they were underaged...they had passports saying they were 16 will we ever know the truth?

I just feel bad for the gymnasts because they are ripped out of their homes and thrown into such a rigourous training program at what i think is far too young!

Yes, it is wrong. Younger girls are less likely to have suffered serious injuries which effect performance.

I do think it's wrong because younger gymnasts are more likely to do more challenging and difficult things cause they're younger. Plus, they're not likely to get injured too bad, but it isn't a fact they're under age.

No of course not.

The youngest looking one is 20. So there is a definite record of her competing. The youngest one is 15 and she turns 16 in this year so that's allowed as well.

Anyone claiming otherwise are just are sore losers

yes. i dont think its fair to the other countries (like us!!) that play by the rules.
