I know a clunky imperative sentence would be something like "Ni jiao wo Li Lao s**+," but I'm looking for something a little warmer and more polite.

  1. 请叫我李老师

  2. 你也可以叫我李老师!

ni ye ke yi jiao wo Li lao s**+ .

  3. 请叫我李老师。

qing jiao wo li lao s**+

    Please call me Teacher Li.

    This is rather formal. ^^

    你能叫我李老师

ni neng jiao wo li lao s**+

You may call me Teacher Li.

李老师 means Teacher Li, you may replace it with Mister by replacing 老师 with 先生 (xian sheng). 李先生 (li xian sheng)

Ni jiao wo Li Lao s**+ isn't a complete sentence or have incorrect sentence structure. It is like literally, you call me Teacher Li,

吧(ba) added to the sentence makes it more casual, and warmer.

I hope it helped. Feel free to IM me any questions you are unsure of.

    ^^

  4. ni jiao wo li xiansheng (laoshi) ba

  5. "ni ke yi jiao wo li lao s**+" - You may call me Teacher Li.

"qing jiao wo li lao s**+" - Please call me Teacher Li.

"ni neng jiao wo li lao s**+" - You can call me Teacher Li. (I would say this is grammatically incorrect, the way 'can' and 'may' are different.)

You can replace "lao s**+" with "xian sheng" which means Mister.
