Why do a lot of the low priced Chinese Restaurants have mirrors in them?

It makes places seem a lot bigger if you put mirrors on one or two walls.

So do nail salons.. I think it not only makes the small rooms like wide and open... but also it makes it look sparkely! Because where the chinese have mirrors they have dangly fancy lights
