Is this a chinese legend? I saw it in a cartoon when I was very young.

A boy/girl is killed by a council of dragons. The boy/girl comes back to life with wheels on his/her feet and a harpoon, nd he/she slays all the dragons.

Sound familiar?

  1. I rather think somebody confused their dragons.  Dragons in

Chinese folklore are not the evil, malevolent creatures that they are in European folklore.  Chinese dragons are kind and beneficial...

  2. This is just a cartoon made by someone who does not understand Chinese tales. There are different types of dragons, e.g. the lung is the imperial dragon with 5 claws on each extremity, since 5 symbolizes completeness, and the meng is a lesser dragon with 4 claws on each paw. Neither of them would kill kids. They are helpful, not harmful. I have seen no Chinese tales in which a child has wheels on his feet and a harpoon.
