China is one of the worst producers of green house gases, has a terrible human rights record, and produces c**p that is just as likely to be dangerous as useless.

You can't get parts for them, so when it breaks - throw it in the garbage.

No shops will work on them - because they can't get parts and shop manuals aren't available to the public (unless a shop is an authorized dealer, they are considered the public).

Do not buy though mail order or off a web site!

Unless there's is a dealership you can actually walk into and buy one, Forget About Them!

Chinese bikes......some good.

Japanese bikes ....... all good.

You're on a 3000 miler and 14 hundred miles from home. It raining and spitting snow as you head down out of Colorado via Wolf Creek Pass toward New Mexico. There is a line of countless 18 wheelers ahead and wind is picking up. Which do you want under you. The chinese can't make stuffed  toy animals correctly and you want to consider a motorcycle? good - They are remarkably cheap.

Bad - They are made in china to a much lower standard.

There are rarely any machine specific parts, no factory trained mechanics, no repair shops that willingly service them (because they can't get parts, and they can't get training).
