Chinese music, where to find it?

Question

I love Chinese music, but I want the proper Chinese music, not Chinese pop or any rubbish like that.

You get it in the movies about China and it is like a traditional sort of music, but still good enough to make a nice tune.

What is this called?

I am very glad you like it. As a Chinese student I am, I'm into classic so much. When I was in Junior and Senior, I loved pop and Hip-hop very much. But now, I admire classic misic more and more.

You can find torrent files... they are everywhere... just look up oriental music.

u mean chinese folk songs? i think they are more formal,and the artists are more technical,u can check them on baidu.com or verycd.com,that's where i often download music

Baidu is the largest search web in China, it same as Google.  Baidu's MP3 search function much better than Google.

You can find any music you want by Baidu.
