why is there never an open kitchen? why is it always hidden from the public view

My favourite take away is all open and you can watch as they cook your meal.Its super! I agree that on the whole they do cook where they cant be seen though. If you go to a restaurant,you cannot usually see your meal being cooked and you probably dont give this a second thought.It doesnt bother me either way.

The Chinese resturant where I am from has an open kitchen. AAMOF, that is the only one I have seen with an open kitchen, hum........

Not true. There are some Chinese takeaways where you can see what's going on.
