Chinese symbols for a tattoo : Beautiful Love?

Would that be the right way to write it? The beautiful and the love symbols beside each other?

Also, do you like the idea? If the symbols are written small under a heart with wings and some stars/sparkles around it?

First, there are two symbols for "love". simplified:爱 and traditional: 愛. Choose the one you like better.

After that there are a few ways to write it. If you want it nice and symbolic, 美愛 would be the simplest way, but MAKE SURE you do not switch the characters around, because that would mean "vanity".

In spoken Chinese it would be 美丽的愛. But I think that may be too long for a tattoo.

Writing either:

美愛 left to right

or

美

愛 top to bottom are all fine.
