Chinese tradition rules???

does anyopne knows any chinese tradiotn? cuz my friend who is a chinese told me that she can not have a baby unless her house is done with building, she and her husband are building a home, and in the chinese culture is that whenu are building a home, u can not have a baby is bad luck ??? is it true ???

I have a cousin whom I was helping to move in a few years ago. While I was helping him, his wife who was pregnant had to leave the house until we were done. I am Chinese American, but I do not know all the traditions.

I have no idea. All the Chinese do nowadays is copy the "West" anyway.
