  1. When applying for a Chinese business visa, an official invitation letter is required by Chinese Embassy (Consulate).

The official invitation letters are issued by Chinese authority (Bureau of Commerce). And of course, they are numbered and recorded.

It's not hard for the Embassy (Consulate) to check it.

If the check failed, the Embassy can only give you a tourist visa, instead.

  2. Unfortunately, when the B.R.I.C. countries are rising fast, China being one of them, few experts are available in India to know the "visa" system of China. ( experts on USA are available in plenty ... !! ). Both these two BRIC country could have gained much by mutual friendship.

As far as the informations go, they have one visa office in Mumbai and planning another in Kolkata.

Despite best efforts, much good relations have not grown with both the countries .. one doubts the other ... and verification becomes must in this situation.

When the Bejing Olympics is just ahead ( 8 ; 8 ; 8 ) - how the sports lovers will visit that country .. anybody ?
