  1. No.  They look fine. I'm tired of people complaining about this topic. Asians have way different diet than Americans. And just because they weighed less than 100 pounds, that means nothing. Height has a factor too, diet, and exercise. My sister weights only 99 pounds and she's 18

  2. Nope. Asians are precocious.

  3. No.

  5. Both Yang and Jiang — and their teammate He Kexin — have been at the center of age falsification questions leading up to this Olympics. Some Chinese sports registration lists have shown that those gymnasts may not be old enough to compete at the Games. I do feel IOC did not look into this situation as thoroughly as they should have. Perhaps they did not want to offend the hosting nation. This may be something they will have to set better rules on in the future as far as what can be used as proof of age. Some say they should eliminate the age limit to allow all countries to compete on the same level. I feel this would be detrimental to the sport and athletes. However, I would like to see it lowered to 14 or 15 to make it level for all countries participating.

I just saw a report on Fox News that says the Chinese newspaper which is govt. regulated has article that they have documents that show one of the girls was 13 last year so she is 14 now.

  6. I don't think they're even 13 years old.

  7. if they're able, then i say let them compete. they're just gonna get better as they get older.

  8. they look young

  9. Uhh, some of them are too young to compete, He Kexin is actually only 13 years old, they figured it out because of a chinese newspaper post done 3 months ago saying she was 13, and because of her birth certificate. They surely do look young, but what do we do about it? Kick them all off and say that the Chinese team is lying? We can't do that, it would start riot and chaos between the U.S and China. So for now we'll never know, I don't really care if their too young personally, if you have the skills, then go for the gold.

  10. It's fine to hear new people's opinions!

Keep asking, if people don't want to open and answer a question-they have the freedom to NOT do it.

I think the Chinese Women's gymnastics team are too young to compete--they look like they are 10. One of them weights 70.5 pounds-what 16 year old do you know, who's not anorexic who weighs that little? Two Chinese local reports stated earlier that two of the girls were only 14-China lied about the fireworks and their national anthem at the Opening Ceremony-so what makes us think they aren't lying again? THEY ARE-but are we really surprised? No.

  11. I'm tired of seeing the same question being posted over and over. Other people are too. So do us all a favor and shut the h**l up.
