Chipmunks vs guinea pigs?

Question

I cant decide what one to get a have a diffrent idea of what pet to get and I was wondering what was the most entertaining/nice/fun pet to get..

1.Guinea pig

2.Chipmmunk

3.hamster

4Degu

Having kept degus for a number of years i would recommend lots of research is needed first.
A few points i will say Degus do not make companion animals, they are very social and need to be kept in groups, they also have special dietry needs and like chinchillas can not be given fruit as the sugars will make them diabetic very quickly. They also like height so need to be kept in tall cages but will burrow under ground so a good layer of substarte at the bottom is needed.
They will spend most of their them chewing to grind down their teeth so the materials used for an enclosure must be suitable if using wood mesh the inside. keeping them in metal cages can cause bumble foot, and glass tanks have poor ventilation which can lead to respiratory infections/problems.
Best way of keeping them is in an outside aviary that has a heated inside area and a solid floor as they will dig their way out.
