Chipped, bubbling paint??

we want to keep the same color, and just repair the damaged spots. The latex paint has bubbled, and is peeling away from the wall. How do we fix this (step-by-steo, please) and do we need to do an additonal all-over coat? Thankyou!

  1. What i did was scrape the bubbles away. Then sand smooth. And you know those bingo dabbers they use with ink. You can buy them at any craft store. fill one with the paint that you need and dab it on and with a dry brush blend it in. I did this when my lil one gouged my wall and it did the trick. Hope this works for you!

  2. Hmm, why is it bubbled, normally caused by moisture getting under the paint. To remove it, break the bubble and remove any loose paint, keep working until you get to good adhered paint. Once it is off inspect the drywall and if it is ok then sand around the edges of the paint you removed and I would put a couple of coats of Kilz on it then paint over it to match the other paint.
