about 5 weeks ago i chipped the very top corner of one of my bottom teeth...the chip is hardly noticiable but you can see it if you look closely. for about 2 days after i chipped my tooth it was extremely sensitive, but then it went away and stopped hurting..however i recently started using crest whitestips and my tooth began hurting again and was extremely sensitive. also when i chipped my tooth i am fairly certain the pulp didnt show because my tooth is all white. HELP PLEASE ohhh and im absolutetley terrified of dentist! sry

  1. sorry, dentist.

and i can't imagine the pain of a dentist being any worse than the pain you're going through...

and i think the dentist would just give you medicine and maybe a tooth replacemnt for that area (depending how big it actually is...)

  2. Discontinue using "crest whitestips". It is causing the pain! Jeez ...

  3. You need to see a dentist before you damage the nerve. I understand your fear of dentists but lets face it we all have to see one at one time or another. Either lose your teeth or keep them healthy and pearly white :)
