Chisora: The trouble with K2 Promotions is they always have to slate everyone else – Boxing News
Dereck Chisora surprisingly found himself on the same page as of David Haye. The angry brawler for once thought that he can agree with his upcoming opponent David Haye on his views regarding the Klitschko brothers.
Both the fighters were present at a press conference yesterday, which was organised to promote their July 14 meeting at the Upton Park in London. David Haye claimed that nobody is interested anymore to watch the Klitschko brothers fighters. To Haye’s statement,
Chisora agreed saying, “For once I'm going to have to agree with David Haye, he is actually right. The trouble with K2 Promotions is they always have to slate everyone else. They always think they are the biggest and best thing in boxing. They are just kidding
the sport because by the time you have fought them they have already disrupted you, so you know what - two fingers to them anyway.”
It should be noted here that both the fighters, Haye and Chisora have grudges against the Klitschko brothers. Chisora lost to Vitali Klitschko earlier this year in February, whereas Haye lost his WBA heavyweight title to Wladimir Klitschko last year. Haye
is planning another bout against Wladimir sometime soon, but the Klitschko camp has not paid much heed to his demands. Therefore, Haye is even more furious over the Klitschkos.
On the other hand, for Chisora, the Klitschkos are probably the reason of his license revocation by the BBBC earlier this year. Dereck Chisora had slapped Vitali Klitschko at the pre-fight press conference, spat water in the face of Wladimir Klitschko in
the ring after the bout and was involved in a public brawl at the post fight conference. His license was suspended by the BBBC for an indefinite period and he was recommended to take anger management classes.
Both Haye and Chisora want to teach each other a lesson in the ring and end their grudges once and for all. However, despite the hatred they share for each other, they are united when it comes to the Klitschkos. Both of them want to take down the Klitschko
brothers, even though they have miserably failed in the past.
