Ok, here is my story. 2 years ago I made a mistake with a man and had unprotected s*x and contacted STDs. chlamydia and gonorrea. I took the meds for both, was told to come back 6 weeks later to be tested again and was told everythign was good. No one told me it was just to be retested on the gonorrea! and that i was suppose to come back 3months later to check on the chlamydia. Ok that said. When I got pregnant (with another man, my husband). I had my husband first off tested for stds, before getting intimate, all was good. Got pregnant and had my baby in ny. Well I called my obgyn in ny to ask about my std results, you know what they said "we do not run test for stds, we only do that if you ask us to". I was pissed off, they never told me that! and they ran test and swabbed me, so i assume it was for that!. When I told planparenthood, they said not to worry if my baby had this it would have showed up. The thing is I had him vaginal. Wouldn't the chlamydia, had contact on his p***s, coming threw the canal? im so mad, and upset and confused. Because i was sured my husband cheated on me, but i have no proof! this could have been present for now almost 2 years! i know babies can easily be born with conjunctivitis (pink eye) and pneumonia. But he didnt have that. yet i still want to know about his genitals and mouth. Also my husband, being from another country says theres nothing wrong about sharing our spoons and lollipops with him. could have caught it like that? or what about when i handed him off to my husband in the shower, because my son spat up and my husband bath him, i know the soap made the baby slippery and i am almost so sure the babys genitals were near my husbands. this is no way sexual! but i need advice. SORRY THIS IS SO LONG. im only 21 and feel like i have so many bricks on me

  1. weird, i dont think the baby has an std.  unless your husband ejaculates on the baby or has an open sore.

  2. i suggest u have the baby checked by his physician 2 see if he has any of these STDs...i think that is pretty sorry of your doc 2 not fully inform u of following-up & testing for std's while u are pregnant...your ob/gyn shoulda tested u for stds right when u got pregnant...just have the baby checked out...im sure he is okay...dont stress yourself out about it-u didnt know!!!

  3. I'm a little confused are you saying you have it or your son? Or are you asking if your husband has it can he give it to your son?
