Chloe Isleta captures Women’s 400m IM gold – Southwest Classic Invitational, Arizona

Chloe D Isleta of Santa Clara-PC captured gold medal of the Women’s 400m Individual Medley (IM) at the 2012 Southwest Classic Invitational in Tucson, Arizona on Saturday, May 5.
The 13-year-old Isleta served notice of her talent by outsmarting her challengers over the finishing end for gold medal of the discipline. With her utter determination, she spoiled the party of her opponents and reached the finishing end for gold medal.
She remained dominant over her challengers throughout the distant IM event and cruised her way towards the finishing end for gold medal by submitting a time of 5 minutes and 07.40 seconds.
The gold medallist was followed by Sara J Borendame of Ford Aquatics-AZ, who stayed almost twenty-one seconds behind and stepped on the medal rostrum for silver medal by reporting a time of 5 minutes and 28.33 seconds.
Third spot of the discipline was secured by Borendame’s team-member, Natalie C Ward, who stayed 1.17 seconds slower from her foregoing finisher and occupied bronze medal of the event by producing a time of 5 minutes and 29.50 seconds.
With her invincible efforts, the bronze medallist was trailed by Kelsey Thomas of Gmsc-AZ, who remained 0.09 seconds slower from her preceding swimmer and hit the finishing blockade with an effort of 5 minutes and 29.59 seconds for fourth position.
Fifth best position of the 400m event was secured by Tara C Grebert of AZAC-AZ, who stayed almost sixteen seconds slower and ended her swim with the timing of 5 minutes and 45.89 seconds.
Grebert was followed by Hailey E Palma of Ford Aquatics-AZ, who was almost 9.50 seconds slower and touched the finishing end with the timing of 5 minutes and 55.48 seconds for sixth position.
The 14-year-old Palma was trailed by Angela Tulk of Gmsc-AZ, who remained nearly 1.50 seconds apart and completed her swim in seventh best place by producing a time of 5 minutes and 57.05 seconds.
In addition, the championship ended after the conclusion of all planned events in Men and Women’s category while the position holders were awarded accolades at the prize ceremony of the championship.
